Ok it`s very speed ruff for explain the concept, imagine the world climate was complety put out of order, and all ice melted, the water cover 95% of earth.
For the survivors, the women in majority,it `s necessary to can go to isle to another isle for find another survivors ,eat and drinkable water.
the solution was not to construct boat because it `s impossible to use pertol, the solution was the muscular energy.
The population choice the wing graft.
control by nervous terminaison, and muscle, the articfial wing allows to fly over the great sea and find land and eat.

a rapid ruf for the close up of female elf.
I think draw 2/3 characters, they look after earth, behind sunset.
i want to give a feeric look, more positive.

That's a good idea
But they can spend their muscular energy rowing (kidding :D )
Go ahead, I like the purpose of the mechanical modification, I'll wait to see more...

Ok,because we are several to have the similar idea:girl with wings ,like faeire,I prefere change the concept,In fact i can`t to compete with other concurrent :) .
My concept is ,imagine a world like faerie with elf and dragon,on days a dragon try to destroy the world and transform it in desert, the elf try to kill him and he was wound.they capture him and with dwarf help he repare him and transform this terrible dragon in a clouds maker ,in fact he eat snow in a giant mountain in an unknow land and he transform it in clouds for the desertic land and try to retablir the humidity climate.
I think work it with painter but i`m not sure, because i never use it.
maybe in photoshop,in any way i made the sketches in traditionnal, pen.

I like the idea of the dragon that has been changed from firebreather to cloudmaker it's really original ^0^
I've seen quite some women with wings already, so i'd go for the altered dragon :)
Painter or photoshop: Just take what you like, painter has better brushes but as long as you don't want to fake real materials/brushes photoshop does the trick as well :)

Hi ,thank`s for your comment:beer:
I hope can obtain a good picture with this concept.
For painter,in fact is question of look ,if i want a pictural style ,I beleive,i going to try painter, but if i choice an manga illustration look,i going to use photoshop.
I `m going to see your concept.
Good luck and have fun with it.

First composition proposition.
I try to find a good elfic pattern for the "armor".

Nice concept ... like it much more than those ladies with wings. And a nice sketch. Looks like one of DaVinci's studies of mechanical inventions.
Keep up the good work!

Thank`s for your encouregements, i m`not completly ok with this composition maybe .
i reduce a little the mountain with the dragon ,i find it a little crush in the corner of the picture.
But i do find a goog compromise with the composition and the view of the mechanical part.
03-31-2004, 01:32 PM
I change the morphology of the wing ,and continue to search a look for the mechanicals parts, and don`t find it.I want to give a elfic look..........:(
03-31-2004, 04:04 PM
perhaps look at the elfish armors from lord of the rings they have interesting details that you could use to develop a nice elfish look to your dragon

thank`s for the advice, I look after this.
Someone can tell if the pictures format iss definitive or is authorize to change like panoramoc for exemple?
Don`t forget to see my 3d concept.
04-01-2004, 11:16 AM
I change the composition of the pictures I find it more open, and better
Tell me what you think.
Can you tell me if the format pictures
can be changed and more panoramic?
Or it`s necessary keep the guideline?

I try a sunset look.maybe the back mountain is too big!
04-14-2004, 01:41 PM
i prefere change the dragon color, but nothing is def.
04-24-2004, 06:08 PM
good start with the color. I think that once you get more detail, especially on the rocks it'll come together better.
Colour and light use is nice, I'd like to see a more refined drawing though.
