well hi everybody Im starting with some concepts and here it is the first one, I call it the Multitask CG Maker, It has a mix of human brain and some robotic one with connections to the cg makers network so they all can work in a proyect kinda syncronized. He has 2 side eyes to be able to work on the side computers without having to turn his head, his natural eyes have special filters and optimizations to work long hours in front of the computers, he has 2 extra arms etc etc.

Hope you like my first concept, I am now changing a lot of stuffs on it, like a more futuristic enviroment etc, I hope to recive comments and suggestions. c'ya soon :scream:

Hi nice concepts I like your idea, but it'll be better to add more fleshsybiosis in the scetch. To fully understand me I'll explain better---> it doesn't seem that the metal and the flesh have merged, it looks like the metal parts have been added and nothing more. Except that everything is looking great keep up the good work!

BernardoDelgado
04-07-2004, 03:26 AM
finally a comment!! :bounce: haha, tanks thats my problem, I'm not decided yet , by one side is that option of doing some flesh merging to metal, but from my pont of view if there's a technology so advancet to do that why would the flesh will be cutted and expossed if the concept is based on a aerodynamic solution so it shall be clean and well defined, or wut do ya think  :hmm:

hi benardo,
i agree to make him more fleshsybiosis-look. The feature Cover on his face does look like a Mask jst to place onto his face. Maybe u can make it thinner like is embedded to the skin to match the Mechineflesh ambition. I afraid later someone will insists dat is add-on components. Hmm... The mask got a rubber-feel like he is wearing on it.. Dat's wat my eyes tell me..hope u won't mind.

if i found ur forum early, i would like to see u working on ur first sketch. Dat's is a cool contribution dat at least will gain lotsa busy hardworking artist a vote!

Overall for the 3d work ..
cuz i dunno how to model..haha...goodluck!

I oso wonder y no much comments... Hope it will grows more later!

Well here's the flesh answer: The flesh is needed so that the other humans(no mechanical enchansments) won't despise the enchansent humans like the runner in this case. That's the pure psychological explanaition of the problem. There is yet another answer that might be given the Challengers from Machineflesh want you to put some flesh-machine-merge ;)

Some pure modeling advices well make his hands look muscular, make his mask transperant or some kind of jelly material, put more little mechanisms which can be seen, some comercials on his body and defenately more flesh on the torso. Ok thats basicly all I can say for now. I'm waiting for an update!:bounce:

Syeko
05-22-2004, 07:43 PM
what was that u added to his back?
is it a cable?

its position really adds to the composition, but i am a little confused on what it is.

great work!

Bernardo D

Formula one man,... great concept!

I would do something special to the feet,... you know thats where the action will be, might even think about shooting from that angle of perspective in the finalshot, like the nike advertisments.

God work
Greetings Kanga

BernardoDelgado
05-23-2004, 01:22 AM
thanks guys.

about the perspective is a good idea, I'll think about it because maybe wouldnt be possible to view the composition with the actual intention, the cable in his back is like a lock. something like those wires that biomechanical scients put to people to test their strenght. hehe sorry for my bad english I dunno if u are understanding what I wanna say. Anyway thanks for the comments . keep in touch, I'll post some wires so u'll be able to see the complete diference between the model and the composition ahaha:blush:

great concept. Great modeling and texturing. Is he disabled in the para alympics of the future or just enhanced for speed in future races where biomechanical humans compete in a hybrid of car racing and human racing. I doubt the latter ever coming to bee but nonetheless its very good.

Fantastic idea, looks like you've got an eye on the future of athletics! Far more refreshing than all the machineflesh entries with a gloomy look to them - war torn stormy atmosphere, machineflesh crawling along the ground etc. Don't get me wrong, I greatly admire the skills of the artists who created them, but yours I feel has something far more to it. Great work, it really stands out from the rest. Congrats! :)
