its lookin really good

but

and this goes for a lot of the entries I’ve been looking at, your model needs a expression on it that makes it more interesting / more in keeping with his character…also more (I’d imagine) challenging for you, the top photo of Brad Pitt is a classic Pitt expression which if you could pull off would be really really good, its definitely something that earns more browny points.

His jaw really bothers me in the front view, i think is either too wide or too low or both. The rest looks fine though

okies i shall tweak

dowswell: its sort of hard to actualy model an expression when u dont even have the basic shape correct once thats done i may add an expression, i may not i may do it with the rig modeling him with an extreme deformation causes lots of problems best to be neutral/relaxed

I agree with the chin width. If you look at your first reference pic, Brad's jaw is a straight line from his temple. Sometimes his chin does look wider, but it's because his mouth is so narrow, that a 3/4 view creates the illusion of a wide chin.

ello!

fromt he looks of things, you increased his nose size - its now noticably big. I would say that in in-between state from your old version to the new would work best.

Looking good so far tho! :D

Judging by the photo, his hair should be taller. Also, his ears are very generic ovals, and look oddly placed, and too big. Maybe it's the placement of the ears, but the length of his head seems too short.

yah ure 100% on the mark i just played with the ears slightly and its a big improvement i sometimes forget how much effect on the overall likeness that the ears can have lol

ok tweaked his face abit, quickly slapped in the basic body, got to tweak proportions and add in all the details lol but gives a nice basic idea of what im aiming for

Hi,

His head doesnt look in proportion to his body - it looks a fair bit bigger that it should be. His neck is also fairly on the small side.

yep, i have to agree there

if you take the head and use some dividers on it, you'll see from head to toe its clocking up to about 5 heads, wen it should be about 7, 7 and a half heads, yep

sorrys guys ive been away for awhile with things to do so heres a head wireframe while i try and remmber my xsi keyes and layout (been using maya for a few weeks and now i keep using maya keys in xsi lol )

alrighty rejigged the proportions and knocked him up some hands tell me if u guys think the sizes are right now (yes his shoes are clump and crap) also gonan redo the jacket making the lapels double sided seems to be a waste of polys stupid me!

revisit the face. your first shots look so much more like brad pitt. this guy here reminds me nothing of him.

I'm afraid I have to agree. The body is much better, and the face definatly looks better, but not like Brad Pitt.
