Hi all this is for a comp over at the 3D total's forums. Since I'm not getting any real feed back there I thought I would ask for crits and advice here. The contest isn't specifically low poly but as I am more skilled at low poly modeling I decided to put a real time emphasis on my model entery. I've set my poly limit at 6000 (being genorious as I have no reason not to be.) The breif states that it need to transform between three different modes. Work, attack, and flight. I don't think many people over there think I have all my marbles for going low poly, but I don't care so much about that.

I did a cut-away in the Attack Mode concept to show the mounts for the tentacle legs just to help show how the under side works.

I haven't drawn the Flight mode. I do show part of it though in this render.
