I am looking for a professional level 3d Lighting/Material artist (modeling skills are a plus but not necessary) to work with me on some up-coming freelance projects focused on architecture specifically room interiors. This person needs to have a strong ability to paint with light (going beyond just some GI switches). You have to have the skill to set a mood, night or day, indoor or outdoor. This artist also needs to have the talent to build believable photorealistic materials/shaders.
The requirements for the projects are as follows, please if you don’t meet these requirements lets not waste each others time.
Beautiful samples that show off your lighting skills.
Grounded knowledge in 3ds Max6 and mental ray (I will consider Maya samples if they blow me out of my boots)
A US citizen that has a SS# that I can bill against
Minimum 2 years 3d industry experience
If you fit the bill and are interested please email me links (I prefer links but I will accept a zip file that does not exceed 1.5 Megs) to your work along with your pay rate. Please also include with your email completion times on your samples how many hours it took to light and then render.
