These are pictures and a cheap video rendering of a 3d room i did a while back. I figured id post the old images see how people react to them. Then post the new one's . Try not to laugh to hard at the avi it does not even contain motion blur . The room itself was also built pre mental ray in maya. So no global illumination or final gathering . Plus i was really new to it . Anyway leave me your thoughts on the room.

for a beginner in maya at the time you were, you did a great job.

i wish i was that good as beginner.

im using maya since december and i still cant get the hang of lighting and rendering.

i guess the maya learning curve is steeper than 3dsmax.
