This is a tricky one for me to describe, but here goes. I have just made the leap from running on a 17" crt screen running at 1024 x 768 to a 20" lcd running at 1680x1050(Apple cinema display with a G5 mac os 10.3.2. The new screen has given me loads more space to leave palettes and control panel open, that is in all applications except combustion, which seems to have just expanded to fit the screen. In other applications the size of tool panels etc has remained the same, just giving me more space to work in, combustions tool panels appear to have increased in size, as though the new screen size have not been recognised properly( the monitor size is correctly set in the preferences).
Has anyone come across this or can even understand my problem, I would like ti think its just a case of deleting a prefs file, but which one?

i'm not sure what you mean, but you can edit your "menu height" under "Preferences" > "Monitors".

greetings.

A picture paints etc etc so I've put up an example of what I'm trying to describe here.

I dont get this behaviour with any other software, but maybe this is normal behaviour for combustion.
