Well since everyone else is entering this challenge i might as well too. For some reason mine's crossed between basement jaxx and a buffalo.. so er... here it is..

I like the concept my one crit at this point is that you will want to lengthen his harness right now the cart is rubbing his butt and he wouldn't be able to turn :D but other than that go for it I like it .

Maybe the butt rubbing is what keeps him working :p

I really like that sketch. I agree about the harness bit though. It looks like you couldn't decide weather to have it strapped to his back, or have him pulling it. Other than that I like it.

the harness is going to be longer, but the sketch was pretty close to the edge of the page.. so on it's butt it went..

well it's been a while since i've been able to work on this.. but this is what i got so far..
i've made some changes here and there and dropped the fur.. all those planes and opacity maps took forever to render..
i've still got to add legs, weld the body together, finish off the harness, build the cart, etc etc...

Nice setup Fiveman. Only crit at this stage is that the beasty seems a bit blocky. I like the big wooden wheels. :thumbsup:

poor ol mr (or mrs, ms, dr...etc) beast hasn't had much detail put into it other than really blocking it all out.. i'll go back in later and clean it up.. but now.. another update..

One crit, the legs of the beast, it's to noticeable that the front and back legs are the same, you should try to make them more different. Otherwise, very clean job, the body is awesome.
