View Full Version : Bi-ped questions
T Bomb 03-11-2004, 12:56 AM Hello, I'm making a character that doesn't have legs, and I don't have the patients to do it w/ bones. SOOOOOOOOOOOO I was wondering if anyone can explain to me how to delete certain unneeded parts of the bi-ped. I am using Max 5. I have the option to turn off the arms, but ofcoarse no option to turn off the legs. I suppose I could just leave it as is since the biped won't render and just let the legs dangle around all over the place, and where that WOULD look funny, I don't wanna.
Any ideas are greatly apprieciated! Thanks.

You can't delete the legs. Just scale them down to almost nothing.

Thanks for the reply. Actually, I discovered I could right click and just hide the parts I didn't want! *Dr. Nick voice* What a program! :p

actually you can create pseudo biped object with boxes. hiearchy them in the correct order then use physique on them. then set turn their renderability off.
