You got the same animal combi as me! ;) Both concepts look totally different though.
Not sure about the long front legs, maybe a bit shorter?

NIce, this is a nice hybrid - retro type bull :) I like the angle, are all of those steroid pumps? :surprised

You're concept looks cool. I hope he looks very agressive with those things on his back.
Waiting to see more

Roman : I like big front legs :), they will be the main moving device of it :)
Lildragon : Steroids are only in front ones, rest is fulled with mixture of glucose, vitamins and amfetamins :)
Mr. Nice guy : Thanx, looking for more from you too :)
Here is new study of head, however I am not sure about it, so I will resolve it during modeling....

I really love anything that's bio-mechanical. You definetly tweaked my sweet spot with this one. I also like the muscle definition you have in the limbs. Great stuff so far.

:hmm: dunno if it's only me
but the gas-mask reminds me a lot of Ambient's dragon/tiger thingee.
You've got a cool design otherwise. keep it yp.

I don't think that that's a gas mask. I thought it was some sort of bit or mouth-piece.
levius

Jacko :
Yes I know this tiger, and I like it a lot. However I was more inspired by "wasteman" picture by Hanno Hagedorn.

Besides, everyone has to do a gas-masked character. Isn't it part of the rite of passage for modelers?
Keep going man. It's looking good.

Started to work on muscles, its quite hard becouse its first time I am trying something like this, on the other hand its lot of fun once you dive in it
I would like to have lot of definition in this character in "Simon Bisley style".

really awesome details on the shoulder muscle (is that the deltoid?). That is going to be fantastic if the rest of your BoB's musculature comes out that well.

ZrO-1 : Yes its deltoid :), I am glad you like it, I will add more detail soon...
Christos : Thanx for funny Icon I was laughing about 5 minutes when I first saw it :)
Ok, so this is my latest update. I decided to keep it "low poly" becouse I like the "Cubism" look of unsmoothed polygons :)

:bounce: I really need some feedback in this stage, please write me your opinion. Which way shoud I go? What you like/dont like about my BOB. Is it good idea to leave it unsmoothed? ..
Thanx :)

are u using maya? you'll probably want to smooth it....but that's usually last. if you're using maya, check out the connectPolyShape tools. u might have to add some resolution on the low-rez model u have now, but it's a handy tool......
i like the muscles, can u show a side view or more of the model?

Thanx for reply Matman.
In fact I am using CPS right now (only for mirroring) Its strange but I like the unsmothed model better than smoothed :) I think that If iI will add more details it will be ok to submit it to chalenge, what is your opinion?
Here is one older screenshot from side, my Maya just crashed yesterday and I got to reinstal it now :(

Its coming well, i'll keep my eye on this
It's normal to the mesh at that stage to look
better unsmothed. It takes some spliting and
tweaking but just keep going you'l get there.
Your edge flow is good also. I also have an
ultra muscular BOB you can check it here:

Hey Levius, you did an excellent job on this piece. I think it's cool that you are leaving it un-smoothed, but just for the heck of it, could you post a render of your final version?
Great work and excellent craftmanship. :applause:  :applause:

looking at wire I would say a lot of things were built to
be unsmothed.. so keep it like that.. dont take it off if
it doesn't look good smothed.. congrats on a finished
piece.

Great BOB Levius! The detail! Wowsers!
Also wanted to say I love your Lord Flleisshenberg portrait on your website too! It reminds me of my Jack Russell, Eddie, when he doesn't get his way. I've seen those teeth up close and personal.
Excellent work seriously though Levius! You work in 3DS Max correct? Keep it up...
