Hey Jordan!

That's a wicked looking character! I cant wait till ya start working on it. Those feathers on the top of the head there are a really cool lookin touch.

I should get some sort of beast like that to go get pizza and stuff for me... i dunno.

lol thx guys i should have some renders tommarow sometime im reworking the sholder a bit i kinda just stuck the arm onto the body it doesnt connect very well and i learned that trying to model it just straight off the sheet, bah, maybe some more concpets tommarow too.

heh thx zero - 1 yours is lookin pretty sweet too (but this isnt the place for that) anyways sorry about being away i had some personal family issues to attend, with that all out of the way my car wont start anymore! oi! anyways im starting work on the modeling today so except some updates!

i think ill start with head/upper torso, than the arms and work my way down from there

hey all! i got an update yea! did some modeling turning out great just wanted to keep yea posted nothing major, umm having a bit of trouble figureing out the nose, the next update should be most of the head if not compleately done

heres another update i like how the eye turned out, im workin on that nose, not liking it, i think ill move on to the lower jaw, teeth and mouth, umm what do u guys think, jagged sharp teeth or flat teeth?

Haha, that's some good crit i got there... i think the head'll look a lot "meaner" when he get's a goddamn jaw :D i just can't seem to get it together just now... will have another go at him tomorrow... hopefully :)
a lot of things to do... first of all, figure out someting he should carry/pull and fix those feet :D

Alrighty! So, Jo... I think your beast is comming out great, you might still wanna work on the nose, make is flatter, know what I mean? as for the teeth, it doesn't seem like that creature would have sharp teeth, but, once again, this is your drawing, do it however you want to... OH I ALMOST FORGOT! the environment, I'm sure you made the right choice....:rolleyes: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: :bounce: Can't wait to see how it turns out!

auska, yea the nose could use some work, i dont like the profile veiw of hte nose but i like the other angles, so it probably wont change too much i kinda like how it is. as for the teeth, i was thinking the exact same thing, thats the delma i was having, i modeled some dull teeth but they looked like garbage, so i tried the jagged tooth aprotch and it doenst look that great i agree but it was better than the last, maybe ill attempt it again soon, when i attempt the tounge :scream:.

Theres little spikes on the mesh like under his lower lip, thats just where the seam is, its obviously not gonna be like that in the final.

but anyways heres the small update (too much diablo, didnt get alot of work done :hmm: bah, oh well)

sorry i forgot to add this

id like everyones oppinion, what kinda skin should it have? im gonna bump map it, i was thinking for where the muscles are really defined (come closer to the skin) ill make more of a brushed line look on it, like as if the skin was milimeters thick and the muscles made an imprint on it, or i could make the skin all just kinda rough thick like umm elephant skin (:thumbsup: thechad)

anyways tell me what u think
