It started as a test but turned into full scene. It's pretty minimal but I'd like to say I've captured photorealism quite well. This is my 2nd post her too so...HEY! Comments?

Looks good. Id say your almost there. First off, the leaves look too thick to me...kinda like the fake plastic plants you buy for your house. Maybe add a little bit of translucency to let some light pass through. Also, the grass shader looks pretty good, but the grass blades are too small and too thin. Its making the leaves look gigantic. I would also lighten the grass up a tad. Small problems, but they would really push this to the next level.

This is nice.....good exercise.
Definately agree about the thickness, translucency and huge size of leaves.
Few things more I noticed are that the leaves are exact clones, even the texture is same to the minutest dot. No two leaves can be same ;)
The leaves also seem to be floating. Sink them a bit in the grass, may be a few blades can come over them.
The grass also needs more color variation.
You can also put more leaves in the background, some dry or decayed etc.

This is pretty much critique vs the scene you have made, and not really the result of the leaves..

Two exactly the same leaves into the same scene dosen't make it very much photorealistic.. but I guess it's only for showes.

The blur at the side of the image, and with the focus in the middle.. feels like it's only a fake 'dof' and I would say that you can skip that.
