MR BINK 03-09-2004, 03:26 AM This is a model I am working on for my demo reel this is just a color map in textured decal mode in XSI. I'd really appreciate it if anyone could give me any input or critisism.... thanks in advance

interesting... I just got done doing the same model of car a few weeks ago... got some areas that need optimization in there on the front bumper... the way I see it on your model is that it's a really flat bumper... yet you've got quite a few segments in there under the headlights and in the turn signal under the bumper...
plus if that's supposed to be some 'E' s in your license plates, then the textures are backwards on the front...
looks like some of the games I've played before

In my opinion you could cut all those triangles out and it wouldn't make a lick of difference to the look:)

heh.... well, the stuff I was trying to point out dur23 had all highlighted in red... so cut those out and you'll have fixed what I was talking about

i would take the risk and add some more polys to the wheels...
and maybe you can try to add some photorealism to the cars texture
