Amilton Diesel 03-09-2004, 12:00 AM My last interior scene, was made with Max 5 Radiosity Renderer. The time was about 6 hours in a P4 3Ghz. Everything is modelled, except the background and plants on the right.

Odd, nobody has commented this so far, it's a very good job. One suggestion: try to apply a falloff gradient to the reflections of the floor, it'd be nice to see reflections fading off with the distance.

Hello there,
Amazing skills you got there. Clean and the lighting is very good. I am with thirdeye about the reflection fading off in the distance. The other thing is the light we see from the table top lamp, i think it show be more transparent.
I can't beleave it's 3D :applause:
My first thought was that is a photo...and second....and third :p
and than I saw other images on your web. Really great!
I think there is nothing wrong with floor reflection.

Hey,
Wow this is extremely good. I can only see two things that bother me. One the fruit looks like plastic. Its too shiny and needs more variation in the skin of the apples I am assuming. The other thing is there is no semi-shadow cast on the floor from the curtians. If they are semi-transparent then there should be a semi-transparent shadow with a cloth like texture to the shadow.
Great Stuff.
Cheers,

Very good pcitures! Awsome render and light!
My only critics the lamp volume light! Why on the lamp?!
And the mirror reflections! The mirror pictures (only city environment) not flip horizontal!
But all very good!
Congrat!

Yeah, fruits and bottles on the pic have some odd specularity, and the chairs in the further room have backs that look untextured. Otherwise the picture is very good.

Congratulations, itīs a fine image! Great lighting and shading!
I agree with most of the small flaws mentioned above, but i think you have a major scale problem...
The size of the interior doors, so as the doors from the "!balconnie!"( varanda) are too small. If you compare them with the chairs, for example, they are too short and should be wider!
If the ceeling is 2,5 meters high then the doors should be about 30 cm shorter...
From the perspective you posted the door witch is aligned with the lamp, should reach the bottom of the lamp itself.(visualy of course).
Anyway, i think you have an excelent work overall!
Parabens!:)
