View Full Version : Game Developers Conference
BryanSilva 03-08-2004, 11:36 PM Hey fellow game artists, The Game Developers Conference is coming up in two weeks (March 22-26) in San Jose Califormia and I will be attending for the second time. I was wondering if any of you will be attending. Its a wonderful event that is also an excellent opportunity to network with fellow developers and aspiring developers. The website is: http://www.gdconf.com/ You can find out details there.
I hope some of you will be attending so I can finally put a face to the names I see here so often. How bout it?

private message me for my AIM name so we meet at a booth or something like that.
*somthing like that example: skin you alive, wear your flesh, pose as you and drop off crappy demo reels to respective employers.*

no GDC for me this year...
hopefully E3 and definately Siggraph
Luck SOB's I have to be presenting an paper or workshop at one of those to be able to go. . . Like that will evey happen. Where I work they don't see the value of sending employees to those types of things if we are there to make the compainy more money though being overly visable. Maybe some day I'll work up enough vacation and spare money to get there and front the fees.

The crappy part is, I got tickets for free, but I'm broke, so I couldn't FLY there. If you see anyone from the Guildhall, tell them I hate them, for not smuggling me in their luggage.
