Hello,

This is my first work posted here.

It was made for the latest contest of 3dyanimacion.com and was selected as the 3rd place.

The theme of the contest was fantasy movies and couldn't resist to make a homage to the love of my childhood: Princess Leia and her golden bikini.

Made with Cinema 4D 8.2.

Comments and critics are welcome, I really want to improve my work for the future.

Thanks.

Wow, this looks pretty good! Nice mood.

As far as crits go, hmmm, I know that you aimed for a stylized Leia, but she looks like a little child or a doll.

And, how did you achieve that grainy effect? Post-work?

Hi,
Thanks, yes, it was intended to be a cartoon like character, a little bit manga. But I agree, maybe it's too child like.

The dust is a volumetric light with a very small and contrasted noise.

Thanks again.

WOW! I'm so glad you did this. No big critz. I bet you could get a bit more strain out of Leia. She seems to be strangling with very little effort. Just great work though.

Wow, can you really strangle jabba the hut? Anyways, its a good job, except that as lilCara said, Leia looks a bit like a child/doll.

Same here.. doesn't really look like Leia in the face and the head is too big and in no way does this image make me think of anime or manga.

Thank you for your comments.
I don't know how to get a good wireframe image, but here's a try with Di Tessa. And a wireframe screen capture of the main character.
Saludos.

thats really really nice.. I love the lighting and the sense of humour, and the skin on the leia character. one thing lacks, which is 'tension' in that character as she pulls on the chain..
