i'm trying to build a scene similar to these

i'm on quite tight a deadline (about a week left) and was wondering if there was any fast way to get such an effect other than modelling each debris individually and spreading them out with particles.

these are the models i'm using.

I created a city in ruins type scene for my short film.

I modeled everything; buildings, debris chunks etc.
I made sure that the destroyed buildings were random enough so I could clone them in modeler and just rotate and resize them to populate the city section. I made different pieces of debris and used point clone plus in modeler. Now I own Polas random cloner which gives me more control over the clones.

If you don't have to animate the debris I wouldn't use particles.

The only advice I could think to offer would be to do the huge chunks yourself and then use pointclone and jitter on the smaller stuff.
