View Full Version : liked/connected ramp enteries corrupting

heyall,

im tryign to slave out a bunch of ramps to one master ramp that drives the color and position of the various colorListEntries of the ramps ... but if any of the entries are texture mapped, it goes to poo. any ideas?

server is down, but this code will probably construct the situation ..:

{
$ramp1 = `createNode ramp`;
$ramp2 = `createNode ramp`;
$checker = `createNode checker`;
connectAttr ($checke+".outColor") ($ramp1 +".colorListEntry[1].color");

connectAttr ($ramp1 + ".colorListEntry[0]") ($ramp2 + ".colorListEntry[0]");

connectAttr ($ramp1 + ".colorListEntry[1]") ($ramp2 + ".colorListEntry[1]");

connectAttr ($ramp1 + ".colorListEntry[2]") ($ramp2 + ".colorListEntry[2]");

}

the swatches should show the corruption (as will viewport and render).

any clues? (ive had a similar corruption with other shade networks, like sticking lambert transparency into a surfaceShader's, i think)
