Hi. This is my first non-3d digital painting. Im at a standstill right now on what to do from here. So far i think it looks pretty good. I still have to add a background and touch up my face a bit.

C&C welcome.

Well first thing I would do is change the eyes. From this angle, the appear way too big. The tear duct part should be a little less visible. Also, the ear need some work too, escpecially in the middle where the cavity is; it is too large.

Other than that, It looks good. It would be good to see a little mroe contrast in the fleshtones though.

Yes, the face looks all too flat because it lacks contrast. Especially when the face is in this angle, there should be more contrast. Don't be afraid to mess with the piece..Copy it and work on it without worrying too much about messing up. Looking at references and seeing how the flesh tone varies would help
