Mmmmmhhh .... "Beast of Burden!" I'm thinking along the lines of a genetic hybrid, part raptor, part bird, bug, bull, cyborg, vegetable, mineral... whatever. I want to see internal organs mixed up with hydraulic hoses etc. and some kind of external skeleton. I think I make it a desert creature and have it pulling a log or a rock, whatever looks good.

Lets start with the butt "Why not?" The hoofs/feet?? are more machine like than flesh n bone. I might think of adding claw like toes at a later stage.

I don't get what you're doing, at first i thought it was some kind of "super dick" (should i see a shrink ?), then it starts to take shape and i have to admit it's quite interesting.
I look forward to knowing what it is going to look like. :)

I don't really know what it's going to look like and I'm not working from any concept art. The bit that looks like the "super dick" is going to be part of it's spine. Some kind of external skeleton. Hope this makes sense??.

I'm just refining the detail of the spine, plus still boxing out the general shape. I'm trying to keep the mesh clean at the moment but with just enough detail to make it convincing.

I think it's an interesting design. I don't know if they're final, but I like the feet. The tail looks a bit freshly extruded. Maybe if you set each section of it inside the other a little, like an insects body. Does that make sense? I like the crazy way you model, making it up as you go along. ;) Keep it up !

Thanks Carl and Iceman. I'm going to rip the legs off and flesh out some detail at some point. I kind of don't want them to look like Raptor legs so I'm going for some kind of genetical hybrid oddity. I think I'll try the insect idea for the tail sounds good.

I've got the head and the arms to go and then I'll start adding detail.

I had to make the tail bigger and add some feet to balance the weight of the front end.

Trying to add some veins to the tail. How do other people do veins?

Sorry I kind of gave up on this one. I have to hit the books and do some more tutorials to home my modeling skills. Hopefully back bigger and better next month.
