Finally i decide do this in 3d.
Some more imagenes using 3dblitz archive visor(?).
C&C wellcome.I need optimizacion some models ,you can see, i did it thinking in isometric bitmaps.

Cant crit very much because you havent given us wires or flat shots but i think it still looks cool

See the nogme head(or flyer) ....i think he has a lot poly as a high poly..

Images loaded quick for me. Definitly in need of optimization, as you said, but I absolutely love this style!
