tail is done.
the battery still needs some modelling and texturing.
and the wirework needs to modelled and textured.

i am starting to work on lights. not easy! its an fg scene with one infinite light for speculars. i am really in need of suggestions in the lighting department. first it's too light, then too dark, then shadows are bad, then shadows are gone, etc, etc. thanks for any suggestions

Great looking model with great details. Will it be animated ? If so, will the parts except for the rotor move around as if it was a real rc chopper ?

Wainting for updates.. :)

Amazing detail. The detail on the rotor fixings look really good!!

As you said, the backyard composite is a bit too bright, especially on the landing parts (I forget the technical name)

Not had much to do with RC helis, so can't offer any crits in that aspect!

Looking forward to the finished work!

I used to fly RC heli's. I flew a Nexus Lagato 4 stroke. The cowling looks like a Nexus am I right? Great model and detail. At least when this one crashes you won't be spending $80.00+ on new rotor blades:)

biowax - i am hoping to get this animated - head and tail spinning - and sevos operating the contol. right now i only know a little about how to setup the expressions for this, but i think i can do it.

jhavna (with the silent J) - yea, i have ditech the back yard for now... maybe if i get a pic of a brighter day or something, but for now, i am done with that.

i am having the biggest problems with lighting! too dark then too bright, then too dark, etc, etc. soon i will have it (i hope)

the technical term for the landing parts are... landing gear :)

more huge updates to come...
