I am using the cell render effect (C4DXL7) to produce a simple black on white outline of a logo I have created. However some edges won't apear, yet if I move the object a little they do.

Also the logo is made from extruded splines. Is there a way I can convert these extruded splines into plain old 3D (polygon)objects? I have tried 'connect' and 'current state to object' but they still leave me with 2 caps, not a polygon object.

I'm not quite understanding whats happening here, could you please post a pic?

Here's a pic of what's happening.

It seems that some edges turn out and some don't. The textures should'nt effect the render should they? (cel render cancels them unless colour is selected).

the reason for this is because XL's Cel renderer does not render indise lines, the reason you see the other inside lines is because they are infact created by the cappping what you need to do is current state to object with caps, tnd then seperate the polys that makes the edges so that both sides have edges.

Hi there, Ive done it...forgot to delete the polys left behind

yeah when I was first making the emaple it didn't work I I was so confused as it should have worked just fine, then I rembered splitting doesn't delet the other poly
