Good choice of director, not sure about Smith though, maybe too much of a 'young handsome leading man'... but of course they cast such actors because they're literally 'bankable'...

It looks like they've chosen to feature the Shadow Air Muscle in their robot designs.

He did pretty well in ID4 and of course Men in black ...he just needs a good supporting actor and he'll do fine ... this must be a somewhat comedy role ??

I just hope they stay true to the premises of the original book, which was first and foremost Asimov's reaction to the 'killer robot' theory; which he thought was ludicrous.

Hard to tell from the synopsis. The starting point that a robot committed murder could well turn out to be a conspiracy by the medaevialists. Guess we'll have to wait and see :)

Will Smith is one of my favorite actors, maybe not the best role for him here, but I think he'll do great. Hes better known for comedy but hes a good actor so I dont think he'll f up the movie by starring in it.

Im looking forward to this movie, whoo hoo
