Just a reminder : 5) can't be humanoid

I'm interested in where the model is going. For some reason I see a version of the Troll from Harry Potter in your model, and that makes me curious. :)

hehe i know no humanoids :p
just wanted to post something so my thread has some life!:D

what i have in mind will be a creature that can be gentle like an angry tiger but when pissed off can become FEIRCE AND SCARY like a puppy.

i cant wait to get some time haha

I already think it would be scary it a 40 ft puppy wanted to lick me in the face. But what will he be caryng? his food just bought atthe local supermarket or maybe he is a atraction for little kids who ride his back.
I think a puppy will be fun. :wavey:

waiting impatiently to hear your words of wisdom people!!!

bob the cgtalk dog wants to know what you think of him!

oh and story:

hahahaha Mr. Mark that's awesome. THat puppy is coming along great. All the proportions are perfect puppy proportions. I think this one will work well because when you first see it you'll be like "oh its a puppy" they as you look harder you'll be like "oh, dam, its a huge puppy" :D

Great stuff so far.

hey mrmark,
looking great! is this guy gonna have some fur in the final? cause if so..you probably won't need veins..showing...but if he is furless...veins would be cool...my only comment so far is that the front leg should join the body at his shoulder more and not so much at his chest/belly...but proprtions are right on....I really love the dramatic angle you chose on the last page...can't wait for more!

mrmark

Going nicely Mr. Mark! Such a cute lil' puppy!

That mouth looks a bit sharp. You might want to round and fatten the edges, so they have some more jowly bits. Ears are starting to look nice. If you're after a bit of realism, there's a tiny flap of skin that folds out of the innner ear on most dogs. If I can find a picture to show you what I mean, I'll post it.

Just keep on tweaking till you like it!
:D

My biggest crit on the head is that the eyes are too small and too far recesed into the head. You have to give your beast big puppy-dog eyes ;) Also try to get the upper lip hanging outside of and over the lower lip. Don't have them round into each other.

Just my 2 cents.
