Ok, wrong thread, but what programming are you using? That could help a lot...

considering the fact that the dude has 11 post, of which 3 in the 3D studio forum and the rest in the GD we might conclude he is referring to 3D studio max.

Another rule of thumb, for heaven's sake, please tell us some info. in the title of the thread, not just a "please help me."
Would help a LOT.

O.K. sorry. I am using 3ds max. I am making a face, I have modeled the left side, so I need to mirror, copy, and weld the seam. but copy and mirror is as far as I have got. What I am asking is how do I weld the seam.

And what forum shuld this be in?

So " O wise experienced ones will you please help me."

O, and how do you guys take screenshots?

Dont get pissed at me, I'm only 14 and have only been using 3ds max for 10-11 days.

This should have been posted in the 3ds max form (look at the Application Specific forums on the home page about 3/4 of the way down)

Screenshots are easy, when you have what you want on your screen press the print screen button (usuall above Insert and to the right of F12) then open a 2D program such as Photoshop and paste.

For your question if you are using max v. 5+ then just applya Symetry modifier, it is much easier.

If you are using max v. -5 then first you will need to attach the copied half of your face the the current half and then use weld.

Someone should move this to the max section so he can get more help.

There is a print screen button on your keyboard, use it and paste it into paint or photoshop.
here is the link to the 3d max forum (http://www.cgtalk.com/forumdisplay.php?s=&forumid=6).

Symetry works good, you need to make sure the axis is right, you may need to flip it, and you may need to move the gizmo.

It sounds like you are getting a little ahead of your self, I would start reading the max tutorials that shipped with the product from the beginning to end so you will have a little better understanding of the tools.

At the risk of sounding like a jack ass, but........you read the material that came with your purchase of 3dsmax i.e. the manual, the tutorials, etc?
