Platige Image located in Warsaw (Poland) is currently looking for
compositing artists for Discreet Flame.
Platige Image is one of the major post production houses in Poland
Artist will be hired on a contract on 6 months (full-time position) at
Platige Image studio in Warsaw, Poland.

Required Skills/Experience:
. Minimum 2 years of compositing experience in commercials
production or feature films.
. Demo reel demonstrating mastery of the fundamental mechanics of compositing.
. Ideal candidate should have a strong sense of composition, color and design.
. Must be willing to learn a new compositing package and techniques.
. (Optional) Should have experience compositing live action and computer generated elements in motion picture.
. (Optional) Should have considerable experience with one the following tools such as: Shake, Combustion, Avid|DS, Digital Fusion, After Effects
. Needs to be comfortable in a Unix/Windows environment.

Responsibilities:
. Review storyboards and/or plates with the Compositing Supervisor to determine the type, placement and number of layers needed and give time estimates as required.
. Work with the Compositing Supervisor to evaluate the look of computer graphic or live action elements to determine the visual consistency and order of layering required.
. Perform all tasks associated with the compositing process including 2D tracking, matte extraction, keying, morphing and assembly of live action and 3D elements.
. Maintain the overall look and color balance for assigned shots or
sequences to create uniformity in all finished work.
