i remember there was a bmrt-GUI for windows (and other platforms???) called "BORG", though i donīt remember where one can find it. do a search on, hope it still exists in this universe.

but this is not only a gui but also a network rendering solution for rendering a single image via multiple maschines over a network.
there were other guiīs but i also lost there names

There is a very simple but straightforward gui called SpareRib
