Please help me!!

When i import a sound to lipsync too, the sound plays through fine...But if you scroll through it, it becomes totally high pitched and un aubible. This makes good lipsync near on impossible to achieve.

I am desperate here guys, i need to be able to do this! It works fine on my windows machine, but under linux it is all screwed up.

I would appreciate ANY suggestions!!

Thanks JIm.

This is unsurprising to me. Audio's always been an afterthought in Maya, and is somewhat buggy under Linux, at least in my experience.

I can't really offer you any suggestions on what to do about it.

However, as long as it plays back fine at speed, why do you need to scrub through it? Just look at the waveform in the timeline to see where your consonants are and it should be pretty straightforward to line up your extremes of motion.
