Firefly Studios, the UK based game developer that has produced Stronghold, Crusader and Space Colony is expanding its operations. Firefly is starting a new development studio in Canton, CT
U.S.A.
As a part of our expansion, we will be looking for top notch programmers and artists for the Canton location.
Artists
Firefly's new development studio is building a world class art department. We are looking for passionate artists with strong skills and the desire to be a large part of a small team. If you are eager to create, to learn, and to teach, we want to hear from you.
Requirements:
Candidates must have robust abilities in all of the following areas, and be exceptionally talented in at least one of them:
3d Studio Max
3D Modeling (characters and structures)
Model Rigging
Animation (Character studio)
Photoshop
Texturing (characters and structures)
Additional skills that can help a candidate to really stand out:
Concept Design with 2D sketch and paint skills (Real Media, Photoshop and/or Painter)
Graphic/Interface Design
Non-linear editing and cinematic post production (Adobe Premier, Adobe after effects)
Our company tends to focus on historical strategy games. Projects involve both low and medium resolution real time 3D graphics as well as high resolution cinematics. Please see our company web page for more information:
