I wonder how many of you are using x-sheets for your animations ?
I don't use them but I talked with a friend who is a 2d animator and he told me that he know 3d animation studio's that use x-sheets for there animators. It helps the cg animators who hasn't have a 2d background. It impoves there timing etc.

I think it's a good way to learn newbie animators who enters the field.

I tried using one for the CGtalk animation challange a while back and followed it pretty close.

I wish there was some resource on how to use it.

In anycase it worked out pretty well. I think it will require some time animating before it really begins to make sense to me
