Hi,
I posted the wips for this image in the great WIP-forum here on CG-Talk and got some great tips to improve it but now I think it's time to move on to new images.

Looks good, i would work a bit on some outlines, there are places where the outlines are a bit rough :)

If you want to know if your painting does a good job of telling it's story (it seems to be story driven to me) and what people feel when looking at it, go post it in the evocative forum here on cgtalk. Critics are focussed and firm there but it can be a really good way to learn how your drawing comes over on others :)

I've updated the image, hope it is an improvement.

By the way, it's supposed to be the dark lord, Harry Potters enemy :)

I like this picture :)
espezially his servants in the background and the owl look very good.

The lightning is not that good i think (at the clouds site) and the face in the clouds is a good idea but it does not look that cloudy to me yet. maybe you would rework that a little.
just a suggestion.

just found the wip thread now. i must say i really like the image.
and i can see there was different oppinions on the skull in the sky, i think thats just great :)
i know its finished now, but i would have made the paper look more old and rifted maybe, or atleast more old.
