View Full Version : Character: zombie or something like that
cache 03-01-2004, 07:44 PM Hi cgtalkers!
This is my first time ever to start a new thread in any wip area :)
My model (this is my second organic one) is a zombie or something like that :)
I am not planning to do anything 'big' with him, no projects;
just playing around with polys
done in 3dsmax5 without any reference.
5hours of experimenting/work so far.
here he is (or here they are:) )

What do you think? :>

Hey cool.
I like it. The only thing I would say (I am no expert btw) is that his ribs seem to be showing way to much. If he we skinny and slender over all, I would say it fits, but since he seems muscular and robust in the legs and in the chest and shoulders it makes the ribs seem out of place. Keep it going!

I've made some parts a bit skinnier to fit the ribs :)

yeah, ok. that has a better feel to it. I would push it even a little further in terms of making him skinnier. I would have his face look like skin stretched over bone. But that is were my imagination is taking me, yours maybe telling you something different :)
The only glaring thing now, are the legs. He kinda of has tube legs and there isn't alot of distinction from the hip thigh to the calf to the ankle. Other than that, keep working on it.

Hi,
There seems to be some tearing behind the shoulders and at the wrists that you should fix. Also, put a negative light in his mouth so it's not lit inside there, just an aesthetic thing for the render. Other than that looks good!
