Is there a way to tag multiple points and merge them in XSI 2.01?

I've already looked at moving points to points and pressing alt to merge them straight away, and also tagging two points at a time and merging them.

Is there a quicker way than these two methods?

Is there no way you can just select all the points on a model and merge the ones within a certain distance of each other?

Select all the edges that are common to the points you want to merge, alt + right-click on one of them and do Collapse Components. Very effective.

This helps as a work around but it doesn't solve the overall problem. The poly mesh I'm working on still has multiple verts that all share the same point in space.

Go into Net View > XSI Net > Tools > Modeling > Topology Edit > Weld Mesh.
