Nothing creative here. Just a repaint of an existing photo.
I trying to learn myself digital painting and this is the result of some (quasi-)speed painting.

My experience at painting is not that large. So I'm posting this to see if I'm on the right track. I'm looking for some critiques about things like this:
-Is it clear what it's supposed to be? (I know what it is but can you see it?)
-Are certain things in the picture bothering you?
-Did I do something (fundamentally) wrong with the shading or perspective?
-Is it interesting to look at or boring?
-Maybe some tips on using brushes?
-And if you've seen the original (http://www.student.kun.nl/r.kok/art/CharlieClouserBack_ref.jpg). Does it do the original justice?
I used PhotoShop btw

Because this is just a quick repaint of a photo, I don't expect so much replies, but some feedback would be nice.

That's a pretty cool picture.

The only things that leap out at me as looking a little off, are the dark side of the keyboard to his left, which looks a little too dark, could you perhaps fake some detail here? And what I assume is a microphone to his right, which, looks a little wonky. The style is great and shows of the energy of the performer well, but it doesn't work so well on the machines, which need to be a little more, mechanical.

Thanks for the comment.
Yeah I have some trouble drawing mechanical things. Especially straight lines. So I'll just have to practice on that some more

Wow. I really like it.

I know how hard it is to do digital painting, as I had a go at it myself, and I did not come that far...
