Hi!

After a lot of struggles with the fur and the lighting of it, i recently came to this point. Although it's by far not finished, i decided to post here, cause i wont have much time the next time, as i start at my new job.

Software: Maya & Shave and a Haircut, Ps 8

...here's Frizzy: (EDIT, new picture!)

Following your W.I.P on this model I thing that you must be quite happy with your result!

Althought youa said that this will be your last render for a sort time , I thing that you have to make a final render before you stop this project!

Set up some good lighting and make a nice and lovely render, I thing Frizzy deserves it :) !

Until next time, be good man!

I totally agree with mikepol |3D| ; I followed your WIP as well and your model has turned out really great, but he deserves a way better env. Even a simple softer shadow or a single colour BG would make it better! I expect a new one soon :)

Anyways, awesome work man.

Thank you guys!

I totally agree with you that he deserves a better environment.. i'll see what i can make about it though lighting is a pain in the ass, as i am limited to spot lights) ... and i know what you mean with "turned out"... sometimes i post in a too early stadium of progress...

cu around!

Yeah I saw this in the wip forum, and I happy to see the dog found his body, really a great job here, the fur looks realistic, aside from some of the spots on the body needing to be darker. Could you post a different angle, this is the same angle we've seen through the whole progression, it would be good to get some different takes on it. Again really good job on the fur, but darken those facial spots up a tad!

It kinda looks like a badger.

Hi!

Changed the picture, sorry Clockwork, I saw your post too late, so it's the same angle again:blush: ...

I'll try to find some time rendering another angle.
Thanx for the comments so far!

Found another picture of the little rat (destroyed one of my xmas presents today)... that's him 6 months ago, at the cute age of 3 months... now he is a serious dude!!!

when rendering-times for the fur are too high, then you should think about shaving your dog ;)

like the model! posting a wirefrime would be nice too!

...and posting an image with a naked frizz also would be great!
