Good job. The ink holder section is great. Nice tranlucency on it. The desk needs some more realism if that is what you are going for. The pen holder also might need some slight irregularities.
Now does ink come out the pen???? ;)

Nice job. I agree that the ink tube looks good.

Hey PGP welcome to CGtalk man, nice image, my only crits are really picky outside of the terible wood surface. Fist of all the texrue of the rubber on the plastice pen encasing loks a little rough, having a lot of those bic pens, I would have to guess its really been used cause its getting wonr it looks like. Second is the nice plastic ink section, where the plastice meets the metal the meatal is the same size as the plastic where they meet, which is right, and then it should step in a bit so it is narrower allowing the end to go through the metal encasing, but somethign to stop it from falling straight through is this making any sense any more or am I just jabbering aways???

well done!
hehe... theo only ciritque I'll give, and it has nothing to do with the wood, because that can be explained away by plastic veneer, is the end of the clear ink tub should be more visible around the head of the pen. Usually when you cut plastic tubing you end up with a non-transparent dark blue which should be visible.
Other than that it's photoreal.

Ok, I replaced the desk, and added some more detal to the ink tube.
<----still doesn't think it needed fixing...
:D
It's still beautiful work.
