View Full Version : Dawn's Early Flight - a 2 minute short

This is our first experimental character piece to find out what it takes to make high-end looking productions. Dawn's Early Flight (DEF) was rendered in HD|24p for both output to film and 3:2 pulldown to HDcam 1080|60i. The project was animated in 3DS MAX 4, rendered as RLA elements files, then composited in After Effects 5.5.

I made a FLASH website (which was almost more fun to do than the actual movie) with production stills/info (FILM VAULT), behind-da-scenes (DECONSTRUCTION) and to watch the short (CINEMA DIGITAL).

So ether send us some reviews (positive and negative) or get out those lighers and send us some flame.

Could you make it downloadable instead of streaming? I'd like to see the hires one but even with broadband it stutters like hell and I hate streams anyway. I gave up after the first 2 seconds of the flick.
