Why is the landing gear down?
Also maybe add some blur to the back of the engines in post to simulate heat. Solid model. :)

you need to work on the shape of your F-16. grab some solid blueprints and work from those.

It looks nice but its shape is defenitly not an F 16 one. The wings of your plane are to long. And the cockpit is higher in the original F 16

front landing gear location is wrong. You can use reference images for modeling.

Not only are the front landing gear wrong(wrong position and too many tires), the back landing gear are also wrong :hmm:

The model's pretty good, but I definitely agree about the landing gear. looks like its jammed in a half way open position. Just delete them from the scene, as they shouldn't be visible anyways.
The very tip of the nose has a wierd black spot on it like the mesh is messed up or something. Maybe its a texture thing though, it's hard to tell..
The textures look pretty nice too btw.
there seems to be a shadow casting problem though. Why don't those bombs/external tanks whatever have shadows on them from the wing? A bit of tweaking on this is needed for sure. Also if you can, reduce the white wash on the background pic.
Overall nice compositions though, and the model has great potential!

I'm sorry but this model doesn't show too much realtion to a real F-16. The Fuselage, Wings, Stabilizers, Canopy, Seat, Wheels, and all the other things are out of propotion. I think it would be a great idea to use blueprints for modeling if you decide to model a certain thing, not just something for fun. This model is very underdetailed. You should check the national insignias, and other marks on a real plane.
All of these things aren't important if you're doing it for fun, and it's not am objective to model a certain plane. But if you want to model the real stuff, you should use blueprints, and tons of reference photos.

I like the texturing you did but your attention to detail could use some work. Next time you do a model really pay attention to the geometry of the object. Get as many reference pictures as you can, or if it's fictional draw it out before you model it.
The hardest thing for a person new to modeling to do is look at objects and see them as they would build them in a 3d program and that just comes with time. The second hardest thing for a person new at modeling to do is actually spend the time to make sure things look right. You want to get it done and out there so fast that you neglect the model - I know beacuse I remember how I started off. Popping a model on the web and bragging about how it only took me three hours to do only to get some of the more respected modelers in the community telling me that I really needed to spend more time on my models to get things right.
So I'd say good effort, and pretty nice textures on the plane, but I think you need to spend some more time working on the geometry and details because honestly that doesn't look like an F-16. Good luck and keep at it. The only way to get better is to do it.

I really think instead of modifying it, you need to start from scratch with some real blueprints. Without even needing to see a reference I could tell your model was very far off from being a realistic F-16. I would think that if it's your favorite airplane it'd be a little bit more accurate, especially in things like getting the landing gear in the correct position and having a little bit better proportions on the whole thing overall.

I think you completely failed to create an F-16. The model is completely wrong and it's obvious that you didn't use proper reference. You need to start again and do it right this time. If this is your favorite plane then I would think that you would know it well enough to know that the front landing gear is not where you put it. A model like this will not get much respect on a forum like CGTalk because it's clear you didn't pay very much attention to detail.

I see a few things which are wrong.
The nose part is to fat. It needs a smaller and pointer nose. Besides that is looks not right ATM.
