I did this image a few years ago. Im new to CGTalk, so i thought i would post it and see what you toons thought about it.

Props go to Neil Blevins (http://www.neilblevins.com/) for the tutorial on how to get that whole organic look.

oh, and im aware that it doesnt look very much like a brain at all, i was just going for a general organ look.

Anyway, what do ya'll think?

yeah its definitely weird looking. it looks like a brain, although i've never seen a brain up close...thats how i imagine it would look. i like your detail...especially the acupuncture looking needles sticking into it. and the brain looks alive.."ITS ALLLLIVVVE!" <insert evil laugh>...alright sorry about that.

but looks nice overall

I like the look of the whole thing, however it doesn't look like a brain so much as an organic glob of pink goop.. the brain matter is too large, they should be smaller, and almost wormlike as opposed to bubbly.. props for the composition and the textures tho.

I agree with Clockwork about the general shape of the brain. Otherwise it's a great render, and nice concept.
