Hi friends!! Thanks for the comments,
I post a new pic with 4 steps of the evolution,
first: low poly
second: Meshsmooth Iteration=1
third: shaded
fourth: with bump mapping.
I voluntary exaggerate the bump mapping level, I think it's a good way for have a good level of detail.
Thanks!
you can find here old pics of the none mapped model:

magnifique. might I suggest that next time you texture the body a bit? a lot of detail is lost because of the flat colour. I think the horizontal stripes would look good in a metallic material and colour, like rings squeezing the torso.
but then, that's just my opinion

thanx for the comments, it really encourage me to do better for the next picture.
neofotistos: thank you for your critics  , you're right I must improve my texture technique in photoshop. it was the first time that I tryed to map a character. I used to model and texture backgrounds.
see you, yeah!!! :buttrock:

That is some eye-boggling work
Great.
Especially the bump-maps. Really adds a lot. Looks like an integral part of the modeling.
First time mapping you say... I'm impressed
:hmm: Maybe you can share with us some of your mapping expertise.

Nice modeling and lighting. But the bump map is really too harsh i think. It overrides badly the qualities of the modeling.

Hmm - IMHO, the musculature is slightly wrong, especially the chest area and the shoulder area.

Hey Goron first of all great work great illumination, great modeling, and great subject.
I don't know which rendering software for 3dsmax ddid you used but if it wasn't VRAY try it and with displacement you can get better result that only with bump mapping.
It's a little suggest by a modest "graphic man", maybe you already know this, if not try it.
bye BYe bye from Italy
don't forget to tell me which rendering software did you use.

Hi actarus6,
You're right, I didn't use Vray, I used Final Render . I don't want to use discplacement 'cause that need too much poly for a good result.
I never used Vray, somebody can tell the difference between Vray and final render?
See you!:wavey:

For me (and not only) is the simply and the speed the quality you can reach with vray?
The same (i think) but in less less time, in some areas FR is better(maybe in the traslucency), but I'm not sure.
VRAY Is simple to set up for render
VRAY is very quick
Critiques are welcome (i know that they'll comes)
Hey Goron, really nice works man, your a master of mapping ;) , i like the bump muscle.
