Hi all,
I’m lighting my scene using a pointLight for lighting and GI and a spotLight only for caustics.
I need that some object on the scene doesn’t receive/transmits caustics….. so I’ve placed the caustic flag of the object to hidden or disabled…. But nothing happens. I’ve even tried to unlink these object from the caustics spotLight and check, in render globals, Obey Light Linking….. but, again, nothing happens…. It seem to be that Maya ignores any try to “filter” the caustics effect. It could be a Maya 5.0’s bug (I’ve not got the 5.0.1 yet)?
Bye and thanks
