Well, well. Maybe the pendulum is swinging?

How much do the shareholders want to see to realise that this guy is up there only for his own paycheck and nothing more?
I hope they realise it before its too late (although it seems to be too late). Anyone who loves money more than animation should not be in this position. Ever.

But that's the problem. By the nature uf shareholders "they're" there just for the money. All they will care about is a return on their investment.

Eisner knows that as long as he keeps making a profit, and as long as the shareholders don't believe they could make more profit without him, his job is secure.

that thinking regarding share holders doesn't apply to many of the shareholders in disney (though a lot of the top shareholders probably fit very well) A lot of employess and ex employees hold shares, many people old small numbers of shares that were a Special collectors item from disney, offer thenm an extra fancy share certificate and say its a collectors item was a brilliant way to get money into the company when it was needed wile their shares may be pathetic individually they do add up ad that to sothe larger share holders fed up with eisner it all keeps adding up, but disney is one cmpany with a lot of individuals that own shares and I'd say the majority of the people (not the majority of the shares) are anti eisner and are also not involved for the money.

Yes..but most seasoned shareholders like to be involved with "long term" investments....as opposed to the quick buck.

What Eisner is doing today...will eventually destroy the Disney name and company tommorow.

No?

here's another interesting article: http://money.excite.com/ht/nw/bus/20040227/hle_bus-n27591654.html

Disney expects 30% to vote eisner out, and is taking out full page ads on his behalf. Meanwhile Comcast waits in the wings.
