View Full Version : Logo Concepts...
Steve-O-Rama 02-26-2004, 11:13 PM Here are three logos I came up with for this design team which I am a part of. I would like, first of all, to know which one you think is the best-looking of the three. Or if you don't like any of them, pick the one you dislike the least, and help me improve upon it.

HI!
My prefered is the first one because it is dynamic, and uses more creativity. I think it not a very flexible logo though (Resizeable) But for an opening page of a website, its verry attactive.
The second one is nice too, I love the glowing effect of the G, and its a nice composition of two complementary colors (orange and blue are directly opposed so its attractive for the eye)
The third and last one, looks for me too flat, and maybe the colors are not enought dynamic for me....
Good job man!

I like the first one the most too, for the same reasons as xolvierx.
But I think the third one works the best as a logo. It does look flat but that's a pre for a logo in my opinion.
The second one really doesn't do anything for me.

Yeah I'm on the first one as well. It's hip and young and all that crap, and displays a certain level of creativity.

Thank you guys for your input.
Although I was leaning towards the third one because it's more simple, and scalable and such.
But I might end up going with that first one.

I too, would have to say the first one. Although, i view it more as the GG and name under it with the dots on the sides to be the "Logo" and the rest, the supporting graphics for an application use of it...
Either way, deconstruction is always fun...

Hi Steve, I LOVE the first one!
totally on another planet respect the others.
but: I suggest, first of all, to concentrate a little bit about
the meaning you would like to communicate with them.
Who are you and wht do you wnat to communicate
as graphic team?
logo 1: to me it conveys motion, handmade works,
and similar. For an "old style" graphic
studio recently reconverted to Computer could be perfect.
Logo 2: Nice, but seems, IMO, perfect for a broadcasting company logo (CNN/CBS) It tells nothing about your activities.
Logo 3: perfect for "cool" / "trendy" webdesign company (few colors)...
They lead to three different conceptions of who you could be.
Surely, for a logotype (downsizability, low colors etc)
you could play on a mixture of 2 and 3.
and prepare two versions of it:
A very simple, 2 colors for printing and business cards...
B a little more elaborated for its digital appearances...
keep on gigagraphx text, anyway!
hgoep this helps!

Thanks, I appreciate your suggestions, and I'll consider them as I develop a final Giga Graphx Logo.
I like 1, 3 and 2 in that order. Number 2 I don't like because it reminds me.. or looks like it would be a logo for gamespot/gamespy something about it just reminds me of them.
