Wow. This is very very beautiful. You have really nailed the 2 1/2 D look. Nice job. The lighting and colors are simply beautiful.
As far as the animation goes, is this a test, or part of a larger project? The animation itself is okay, definitely second to the lighting and rendering and modeling.
The look kinda reminds me of The Legend of Zelda, The Wind Waker.
Nice job!

I just gotta reply on this one. Wonderful work, I love the colors and the shading is excellent. Aside from me missing the sound (maybe a problem with my player?) The only thing I have to crit is that the face seems very static. The one thing that really defines cartoons and renders of similar subject is the ability to accentuate and exaggerate facial features and body motions. Unfortunately the lack of these details is what might stop this from becoming a wam bam piece. Give that boy some expression!
Other than that I loved it.

I have to agree with the previous comment. The way you rendered it is great, but the animation is not really convincing. I also didn't have any sound, so it's probably meant that way. Colors and shading look cool!

i love this piece! i really like the style. i did like the animation but agree that it needs some facial expression. i would love to see more.
ohhh my god!
Great piece of work there...:buttrock:
Exelent style i must say! No doubt that the animation could be better, and yaeh, i agree with others about putting more facial expressions! But the thing that kills me is the way he's moving...like a machine (robotic), try to study more people movments, they'r much more faster and elastic!

thanks for all your comments.
I m really happy to see my work pleased you.
to reply to agreenster.
yes it s a part of a larger project, created for a paricular, i have only worked on 3d model shading and rendering.
the animation was made by two other graphists.
unfortunally, the budget of this project is really low, and i don't think that the 2 animators retake the work already done :-(
if you have not already see it, the turn around of the 2 models
