For some reason, Photoshop has a higher gamma than the rest of my computer. I always have to "preview" the actual brightness of an image by looking at it in "save for web." It's really slowing down my workflow, and it's VERY annoying.

Is there some way to get Photoshop to use the gamma that the rest of my computer is using?

bah! i figured it out.

Had to change the PS color settings to use my monitor's calibrated settings. -duh-

"Edit">"Color Settings"

Then you just set RGB to "Monitor RGB - [name of your color settings]"
