Ok here's my first painting posted here. Still very much a wip. Not much, just a study. Feel free to criticize. And if anyone out there can point me out on painting the sand and gentle waves, it will be great.

Damn! nice work... I cant even paint for peanuts.
You may need to put more waves (nice wave!)
The sand on the horizon looks a little off.
If you could put a gradation into the sky the painting would look even better.

I tried to put more gradation on the sky, but it's hard because all the clouds and the blue sky itself are in the same layer. But I did put some subtle colors.
