the 3 part stereo in the left back looks like the 3 elements are the same (copy past). It draws away the attention.
A small tree or other plant would be nice

my eyes were drawn to the stereo as well .. that blue next to hard blacks did it i think ... especially since right underneath it is a spilled drink ( which is far more interesting) that i didn't see for a while
the wall on the left is rather bright as well ...
The image is not ballenced. There is too much clutter to the left and almost a void on the right. The eyes focus is randomly draw to different spots.

You might try flipping the desk and leaving the stereo on the left, and the lamp on the right give it some balance. Also what is it we are supposed to be looking at I mean I understand it's a desk and such, but what should the viewer be drawn to ?

Thanks for your crits...
I will work some more on the stereo.
In this movie you are the director of a company, and a character walks in to give you a presentation.....I hope if the person comes in the room the attention will go to him/her (we have 2 concepts at the moment) and I think it will.
The character in this room will be 2d, so I think it gets the attenntion easy enough....
I hope you can do something with this information ;)
C&C are still welcome

Plastic ashtrays have higher specular highlights. Also I would make it a different color than the cups, maybe shiny black. If the cup is a foam one, it should have little or no specular highlights and a more granular look. A bump would help there. I also think the notebook computer looks a little small, that may just be me. Real nice job on the book covers to the left but there are no pages. There is a lot of wood in the room, the floor and window sill, but the desk appears to be made of countertop material and is a bit shiny. Looks a bit like a private detective's office. I like it a lot.

I have a problem with how big the room is and how small the desk is. Offices aren't that big and have that much empty space in my experience. You either need to make the room a little smaller or fill the room with other things.
Just my opinion.
