Hello!
This is one of my first attempts at an anime character. I think she's from digimon. (So please go easy on me!)...I was hopeing to get some help/suggestions on her eyes. I can't fit a sphere in there cause then her eyes don't look right on the side and in the front there are holes showing. Then when I try to do a geometry constrain, just so I can move the pixels, instead of moving the whole eye, that doesn't work at all either. The pupil ends up going through her eye. People tell me to toon shade her to just do an animated texture, but I dont want to toon shade her. I'm going for a "Monsters Inc." type cute little kid here. (I guess you could say a more surreal look). I also wanted to cover her suit in short fur, kind of like those costumes babies wear on Halloween. I tried using Maya fur, but the fur ends up going all over the place. I cant get it all to stick out properly. I've enclosed a couple renders of my little girl (shes not shaded or anything yet and she still needs some hair on her). I only enclosed front and side images because of shading errors. I gotta work on lighting and such as well. If anyone has any suggestions for her eyes or the fur please let me know what I can do. I really appreciate it everyone! Thank you all for your time and consideration!

nice modeling! but i think that one of the most important aspect for this kind of character is the color

Thanks, it's nice to hear compliments! I plan on spending most of my time on textures and colors with her. I want to give her that peaches and cream colored skin and hopefully, have that short fur on her little bear suit. I am going to attempt to composite her into a scene at a park I had recently filmed! I'm not the best at texturing, I'm probably going to be in this forum asking for help again, but it's alright! It's a learning experience..:) hehe.
