View Full Version : Unwrapping mesh in XSI???
Nurbguy 02-20-2004, 06:45 PM I wish to unwrap a mesh in XSI so that i can import it into photoshop and paint textures over it, anyone know how to do this? Any help would be great!

Go to your Render panel on the left (hit "3"), and then go to Property> Texture Projection and select an appropriate option from there. You can then change one of your viewports to the Texture Editor to edit your UV map.

go into the UV texture editor under Edit go "Stamp UV mesh" then specify what kind of image file. Then when it asks you if you want to replace the current texture with the newly created one just go no ...
